Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying all the snow that we have been getting.  

On December 4th we went together as a legion family and took 57+ disabled veterans and staff from the Lebanon Valley VA Hospital to Hoss' for dinner and then afterwards to the Hershey Sweet Lights.  The ALA has done this every year and this year we asked the legion and the Sons if they would like to take part in this annual event.  It is really rewarding to have dinner with our veterans that have fought in past wars for our freedom.

We held a fun raiser to help with the Hoss' event by selling tickets for a chance to win an autographed jersey and football by LeSean McCoy's (#29 Philadelphia Eagles).  This was a huge success and we have our ALA Secretary, Tawna Wilson to thank for organizing this fun raiser and getting the autographed jersey and football.  

We also had another fundraiser where Friendly's Restaurant donated 10% of their proceeds for 1 night to our ALA.  A thank you goes out to Belinda McCouthy for organizing this event.

Currently we are working with the Legionnaires and the Sons of the American Legion to organize the annual Memorial Day Parade.  We could use help on Memorial Day.  It takes a lot of planning and people donating their time to put on this annual parade.  We are planning on having a Poppy Princess this year.  Please come out and help us make this parade the best ever.

On the last note.....we would like to see you at our meetings.  They are held the 1st Tuesday of every month except January, July, and August at 6:30pm at our legion.  Hope to see you there!
